Club Volleyball Tryout Information

Liberty Belle Volleyball Club is a Juniors Travel program for girls ranging in ages from 10 to 18. We are members of all the major Volleyball Club organizations in the US and the largest AAU Club in the Mid-Atlantic. Club Volleyball is for young women who want to spend time in the off-season working hard to become better volleyball players. All teams practice 2 days a week and go to all day tournaments on the weekends. Below you will find a description of the various options available this season. Please note that we will not offer each option to every age level.

Register

Area Teams ONLY....

Athletes interested in trying out for only the Area teams do not have to register with KRVA, please enter AAU in the KRVA registeration number field of the tryout form.

KRVA Registration

All athletes trying out for Regional and Local divisions of Liberty Belle Volleyball are required to register with KRVA before tryouts, this should also be done before registering online with us, a copy of your current registration card must be presented at tryouts.

AAU Registration

All athletes registering to tryout for Area teams are required to register with AAU. Regional and local players will need to be registered with AAU within 5 days of accepting an offer from LBVC. A copy of your registration number needs to be presented at tryouts.

NATIONAL

These teams will play an aggressive schedule that will include multi day tournaments to qualify for a national championship event. They will also attend additional multi day tournaments as well as single day events. The emphasis here will be on skill building and exceptional performance.

REGIONAL

These teams will play a schedule that sends them to several multi day tournaments and single day events. Teams at this level will be expected to increase their skill level as well as their overall court performance.

LOCAL

These teams will play a lighter schedule, which will include fewer multi day events and single day tournaments. This will be an environment that teaches skills as well as team offensive and defensive schemes. Our goal is to build on the overall volleyball knowledge of these players.

AREA

Liberty Belle VBC is offering an exciting option for those volleyball players who also play other sports. The Area teams will focus on maintaining and developing skills while keeping to a tournament schedule that allows the player to implement what they learn in practice. These teams will attend one tournament a month from Jan. through April. Tournaments will be selected that offer a competitive environment while minimizing the need to travel. Practice schedules and locations will be determined at a later date. We will field teams at 14 – 16 - 18 levels.

Additional Information About Tryouts

Registration

Liberty Belle Volleyball requires online registration for tryouts,

this will help us facilitate each age groups tryout time slot, increasing the amount of

time our coaches have to evaluate players.

Our online registration and KRVA rules require each player to be registered with USAV before our registration can be completed. Links will be provided on our registration application.

For those parents that do not like to use credit cards, we have a paper registration form below that you can bring to tyouts.

Teams not filled, consisting of 10 players max, will be dissolved before the parent meeting.

KRVA Rules

KRVA states that a club offer must stand for 4 days from the date the offer is made. If a player determines that they are willing to accept the offer, their parents are required to email the following 2 email addresses stating that they have committed to Liberty Belle Volleyball Club.

KRVA will not allow a player to commit to a club at the time of registration.

Players participating in PIAA playoffs/tournaments are not permitted to tryout while their team is competing.

These players interested in trying out for Liberty Belle Volleyball Club are urged to come to tryouts in street clothes but in no way participate in warm ups or other activities other than team meetings.

We will have second looks, you may participate in, after PIAA Championships.

Facility Change

The King of Prussia division will not be available this coming season.

18 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or after September 1, 1993
or
Players who were born on or after September 1, 1992 and a high school student in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during some part of the current academic year
17 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or after September 1, 1994
16 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or after September 1, 1995
15 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or after September 1, 1996
14 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or after September 1, 1997
13 and Under Division:

Tryout Registration Fees

Online registration fee is $43.00

Walk in registration fee is $40.00
